This is the NEW site at this domain. The domain "Katrina Help.com" was donated to Kevin Caruso by R. Moneyhan, who is under investigation by the Attorney General of Florida for the OLD site that he put on this domain when he owned it.

The old site is offline permanently. THAT is the site that the attorney general of Florida is investigating for fraud.

There have been several stories in the news about the OLD site by R. Moneyhan, but again, that site is offline permanently and the domain “Katrina Help.com” is now under the control of Kevin Caruso and Suicide.org -- and this site has nothing to do with the old site.

THIS site is 100% non-profit and was launched to assist the Hurricane Katrina survivors and educate the public about the disaster. All of the content was written by Kevin Caruso, who is also the executive director Suicide.org.

THIS site will be here forever. Helping the survivors, supporting the survivors, and fighting for the survivors.

Important Notice -- Please Read

THE PREVIOUS OWNER of Katrina Help.com (R. Moneyhan) is currently under investigation by the attorney general of Florida for alleged improper use of the domain "Katrina Help.com" while it was under his ownership, as well as the improper use of the following domains: "Katrina Relief.com" "Katrina Donations.com" "Katrina Relief Fund.com" and "Katrina Cleanup.com" while they were under his ownership.

This investigation has NOTHING TO DO with Kevin Caruso, Suicide.org, the current usage of the five domains, or the current site at Katrina Help.com.

The five domains were donated to Kevin Caruso after the investigation against Mr. Moneyhan commenced.

The website that you see -- and all of the content on the site -- was done by Kevin Caruso, AFTER the domains were donated to him. Nothing at all remains from the previous site put up by Mr. Moneyhan, which was the site under investigation.

I have placed this information here because several news stories have been published about Mr. Moneyhan, his site, and his alleged improper use of the domains.

Unless you are a reporter, please do not e-mail me about this matter because it has nothing to do with me.

Thank you for your attention,

Kevin Caruso

I have received innumerable e-mails from people requesting information about sharing their home with Hurricane Katrina survivors.

The generosity and love expressed by these wonderful people is deeply touching.

I have written a very important article that you should read if you are considering opening your home to a hurricane survivor. It has all of the information that you need:

How to Share Your Home with Hurricane Katrina Survivors

To contact Kevin Caruso by e-mail, please use the address below:

PLEASE read the notices above before sending me an e-mail. Thanks.

And please read this before sending an e-mail:

THE PREVIOUS OWNER of Katrina Help.com (R. After the investigation began, the domains were donated to Kevin Caruso.

This investigation has NOTHING TO DO with Kevin Caruso, Suicideorg, the current usage of the five domains, or the current site at Katrina Help.com.

Robert Moneyhan, who was the previous owner of the domains, NO LONGER OWNS THE DOMAINS. And his website is PERMANENTLY OFFLINE.

The current website on Katrina Help.com has NOTHING TO DO with the previous site and the previous owner (Robert Moneyhan) of the domain.

Also, we CAN NOT grant permission for use of any photos.

Thank you.
